Job Responsibilities 1 Delivers advanced, evidence-based care for patients with a broad spectrum of cardiac conditions, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmia, and congenital heart disease. Assesses, diagnoses, and manages inpatients and outpatients with cardiac symptoms independently, as well as under the guidance of senior consultants, when necessary. Regularly performs and interprets diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterization, and uses findings to guide treatment plans. Leads daily rounds for inpatients and outpatients, coordinating patient care with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic management. Accurately documents all relevant patient information in a clear and timely fashion in accordance with the health record keeping policy. Oversees and performs cardiac procedures within the scope of their privileges, including catheterizations, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and electrophysiological studies, depending on their specialization. Modifies treatment plans and medication regimens based on the latest diagnostic results, ensuring alignment with best practices and evidence-based medicine. Supervises Assistant Cardiology Specialists, providing guidance in patient management, clinical procedures, and day-to-day responsibilities. Job Responsibilities 2 Offers mentorship to junior medical staff, ensuring their continued development in the field of cardiology. Takes an active role in the performance evaluation and professional development of junior team members. Participates in grand rounds, case discussions, and interdepartmental meetings, fostering collaborative care and a continuous learning environment. <section>Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities<div class="paragraph"><div>Overview of position </div><div>In January 2023, Our client launched its new three-year project on “Strengthening the rule of law and justice in Libya”, contributing to peace, stability, and an inclusive social contract for Libya. With targeted, country-wide activities, Our client contributes to increasing access to justice and the delivery or responsive and accountable justice and security services for all living in Libya. The project focuses on three outputs: i) continue to enhance the capacities of institutions to deliver justice services, ii) partner with local government actors to strengthen justice and fight impunity at the community/municipal level, and iii) support CSOs and universities in service delivery. The project is aligned with Our clients new country program and the UN Strategic Cooperation Development Framework (UNSCDF) 2023-2025 and invests in long-term partnerships and robust monitoring and evaluation to ensure sustainable results, prioritization of those most in need, and value for money.</div><div> </div><div>Our client conducts outcomes, portfolio and programme/project evaluations at different stages of the Country programme to capture and demonstrate evaluative evidence of Our client’s contributions to development results at the country level, as well as to programme-specific objectives and goals. To this end, Our client will carry out an independent final evaluation within the overall provisions contained in the Our client Evaluation Policy.</div><div> </div><div> The purpose of the final evaluation is (1) to assess the overall results and impact of the project and (2) to serve as an accountability for donors and stakeholders, including beneficiaries. The evaluationwill identify what has been working and what has not and the factors behind them. The evaluation will also draw lessons learned and best practices that may be considered for future programming. The evaluation findings and results will be disseminated to and shared with relevant stakeholders,including donors and government partners, and communicated to project beneficiaries.</div><div>The independent final evaluation will cover the beginning of the project up to the day of evaluation, August 2026. It will cover all project outputs, activities and processes including conceptualization, design, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of results in consultation with all project stakeholders. The evaluation will focus on the support the project has been providing many different fronts on the Missing Persons file in Libya, from institutional strengthening and capacity building for relevant government officials to enabling an environment where rule of laws and human rights are upheld, while bringing justice and responsive services closer to the families of missing persons, as per the project document. The geographic location of the project covers the West, East and South of Libya. As the implementation progressed, the project focuses on two pilot areas, Tawergha and Tarhuna in the West. Evaluation Inception Report. An inception report is the result of preliminary discussion between the project team and the desk review of the relevant documents.
