<p>Ensures their work is performed and conducted in continuing compliance with the laws, regulations, and the highest standards of Compliance. </p><br>
<p>Oversees the professional and ethical conduct of the Department’s staff. </p><br>
<p>Liaises with other healthcare professionals (eg midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams, to ensure the best patient care and patient experience. </p><br>
<p>Provides input into the development and implementation of the Department’s policies, systems, processes, and procedures and identifies potential areas of improvement to support an efficient and effective patient care. </p><br>
<p>Ensures compliance with all relevant organizational Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Quality Management (QM) policies, procedures, and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality service standards and a responsible environmental attitude. </p><br>
<br><br><u><b>Job Responsibilities 2</b></u>
<br><p>Treats acute and chronic illnesses and provides preventive care and health education to patients of all ages. </p><br>
<p>Treats common medical conditions and performs routine exams. </p><br>
<p>Provides confidential patient consultations and initial medical care. </p><br>
<p>Assesses the patient with a physical exam and a review of their medical history. </p><br>
<p>Orders additional tests, recommends treatment, or connects the patient with a specialist. </p><br>
<p>Anticipates and responds to patients' wellness-related questions and concerns. </p><br>
<p>interprets findings from investigations such as blood tests to help reach a diagnosis. </p><br>
<p>Prescribes appropriate medications and lifestyle alterations. </p><br>
<p>Refers the patients to other medical services or doctors if they need urgent or specialized treatment. </p><br>
<p>Uses basic life support skills and emergency procedures such as defibrillation where necessary. </p><br>
<p>Provides life-saving treatment in an emergency until emergency services arrive. </p><br>
<p>Inspects and updates patients' records. </p><br>

<p><span><span><span>Recommends, monitors, and evaluates Special Foods (oral, enteral, and parenteral products) and approved nutrition-related medicines to optimize nutritional status.</span></span></span></p><br>
<p><span><span>Provides day-to-day clinical support to enteral and parenteral nutrition (PN) patients. </span></span></p><br>
<p><span><span>Recommends modification of nutritional intake/orders to physicians as appropriate.</span></span></p><br>

<p><span><span>Supervises patient meals on a random basis and updates patient menus.</span></span></p><br>
<p><span><span>Documents all aspects of nutritional care in the medical chart in a timely fashion following established protocols and standards of care.</span></span></p><br>
<p><span><span>Collects and maintains a record of workload measurement data and clinical statistics on an ongoing basis.</span></span></p><br>
