<p><h4>Essential responsibilities:</h4>
<p>The designee shall be qualified to install, sustain, troubleshoot, and repair standard radio frequency wireless, line-of-sight, beyond line-of-sight, wideband, ground-based satellite, and encryption transmission devices. Included are multiple waveform systems operating across the spectrum, keying and signal devices, telemetry, and instrumentation systems. Assembles, connects, secures, and interconnects components such as transmitters, power supplies, and antenna assemblies.</p>
<p>Resolves installation, repair, and modification problems associated with communications equipment. Employs orbiting communication satellite, line-of-sight, and tropospheric scatter techniques. Conducts tests to restore and maintain systems. Uses layout drawings, schematics, and pictorial diagrams to solve maintenance problems and ensure equipment is properly positioned. Analyzes construction and operating characteristics of equipment to determine source of malfunction. Performs intricate alignment and calibration procedures to ensure maximum operating efficiency.</p>
<p>Reviews and ensures compliance with maintenance management publications and procedures. Enforces safety standards for system maintenance activities. Checks installed and repaired components for compliance with technical publications. Maintains inspection and maintenance records. Posts entries on maintenance and inspection records. Records meter readings and other pertinent data in equipment logs. Completes maintenance data collection forms. Requisitions, accounts for, and turns in supplies and material.</p>

<h4>Minimum position knowledge, skills, and abilities required:</h4>
<p>High school diploma or GED. Formal electronics training such as military technical training school, vocational college, or a four-year electronics apprentice program with experience in electronics equipment the technician will maintain.</p>
<p>Minimum IAT Level II, baseline certification in accordance with AFMAN 17-1303, IP fundamentals, familiarity with deployable communications systems, RF/SATCOM principles highly desired.</p>

<p>The GIZ Jordan Project <strong>“Improved Governance for the Support of Reform Projects in Jordan”</strong><strong> (PARtner II)</strong><strong>” </strong>is seeking to hire a “<strong>Public Administration Advisor</strong>” based in Jordan- for full-time base employment.</p>
<p>The project “Improved Governance for the Support of Reform Projects in Jordan” (PARtner II) is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented from April 2026 to March 2030. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH will implement the project on behalf of the German government, in partnership with the Prime Ministry of the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.</p>
<p>The project builds on its predecessor “PARtner I” and enhances the capacities of the public administration in Jordan. Under the umbrella of the Public Sector Modernization Roadmap and the Economic Modernization Vision, it will continue to support the transformation of the public sector. Aiming at a more efficient, effective public administration which is responsive to citizens’ and businesses’ needs, as well as transparent, evidence-informed decision-making, this project delivers critical support to the wider Jordanian reform agenda.</p>

<p>Oxfam has been in Jordan since the 1990s. We work with local partners in Jordan for a future where everyone can reach their full potential, especially women and young people. We provide essential humanitarian assistance to Syrian refugees as well as vulnerable Jordanians, while promoting longer term sustainable solutions to challenges facing Jordan, with a focus on Climate Justice, Economic Justice and Gender Justice.</p>
<p>As part of the <strong>SPRING Project</strong>, Oxfam and partners are conducting a baseline assessment to strengthen protection systems, improve access to integrated services, and promote community participation. Volunteer enumerators will play a key role in collecting household survey data and supporting FGDs across target governorates.</p>

<p>The volunteers will directly support the <strong>MEAL teams and partners</strong> in conducting baseline data collection. Work will be coordinated from the Amman office with field visits to <strong>Amman, Zarqa, Ramtha, and Mafraq</strong>.</p>
