You will apply hands-on expertise across electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems to ensure safe, reliable, and high-quality product delivery in high-pressure, high-temperature environments.</p><br><p><b>As an Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul Technician - Downhole Tools, you will be responsible for:</b></p><br><ul><li>Assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing downhole electronic assemblies including PCBs, sensors, telemetry modules, power systems, and wiring harnesses.</li><li>Assembling, disassembling, inspecting, and repairing mechanical components such as housings, bearings, shafts, seals, fasteners, and connectors.</li><li>Assembling, testing, and troubleshooting hydraulic systems including valves, pistons, actuators, and pressure chambers.</li><li>Performing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and system-level testing using standard test equipment and fixtures.</li><li>Conducting pressure, leak, and environmental testing to ensure compliance with specifications.</li><li>Diagnosing failures and nonconformances, supporting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.</li><li>Maintaining accurate documentation, inspection records, and component traceability.</li><li>Collaborating with engineering, quality, and field service teams to ensure tool readiness and reliability.</li><li>Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.</li></ul><p><b>Fuel your passion</b></p><br><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><br><ul><li>Have an Associate Degree (AAS/AS) in Electromechanical Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</li><li>Have 3–5 years of hands-on experience with electromechanical, hydraulic, or downhole tool systems.</li><li>Be able to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical procedures.</li><li>Have working knowledge of electronic test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.</li><li>Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Be proficient with measuring tools and torque-controlled assembly practices.</li><li>Have basic computer skills for documentation and test data entry.</li><li>Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.</li><li>Be available to work in Benghazi.</li></ul><p><b>Desired Characteristics</b></p><br><ul><li>Experience with data tools and systems such as Excel, SAP, MS Office, and Outlook.</li><li>IPC certifications such as IPC-A-610 or IPC-J-STD-001.</li><li>Experience working with HPHT or oilfield downhole tools.</li><li>Training or certification in hydraulic systems.</li><li>Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior team members.</li><li>Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and a safety-first mindset.</li></ul><p><b>Work in a way that works for you</b></p><br><p>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.</p><br><ul><li>This role typically follows general working hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)</li><li>May require flexibility based on operational and testing requirements</li></ul><p><b>Working for you</b></p><br><p>Our teams are committed to delivering advanced downhole technologies that support safe and efficient energy operations worldwide.
