Job Responsibilities 1 Performs his/ her duties under the direction of the Medical Director/CMO.  Provides adequate quality care for the patients.  Follows the standards of care.  Ensures a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.  Demonstrates commitment to Continued Medical Education (CME).  Contributes with ideas that support efficient, effective, and quality care.  Provides input into the preparation and consolidation of the Department’s budget, identifies areas of unsatisfactory performance (if any), and recommends mitigating actions.  Contributes to developing policies and procedures, workflows, equipment, and clinical coverage for different hospital sitting around the clock.  Ensures their work is performed and conducted in continuing compliance with the laws, regulations, and the highest standards of Compliance.  Oversees the professional and ethical conduct of the Department’s staff.  Liaises with other healthcare professionals (eg midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams, to ensure the best patient care and patient experience. Provides input into the development and implementation of the Department’s policies, systems, processes, and procedures and identifies potential areas of improvement to support an efficient and effective patient care.  Ensures compliance with all relevant organizational Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Quality Management (QM) policies, procedures, and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality service standards and a responsible environmental attitude.  Job Responsibilities 2 Treats acute and chronic illnesses and provides preventive care and health education to patients of all ages.  Treats common medical conditions and performs routine exams.  Provides confidential patient consultations and initial medical care.  Assesses the patient with a physical exam and a review of their medical history.  Orders additional tests, recommends treatment, or connects the patient with a specialist.  Anticipates and responds to patients' wellness-related questions and concerns. interprets findings from investigations such as blood tests to help reach a diagnosis.  Prescribes appropriate medications and lifestyle alterations. Refers the patients to other medical services or doctors if they need urgent or specialized treatment.  Uses basic life support skills and emergency procedures such as defibrillation where necessary.  Provides life-saving treatment in an emergency until emergency services arrive.  Inspects and updates patients' records.  Additional Responsibilities 3 Job Knowledge & Skills Strong Knowledge of General Medicine.  Demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities in GP practice. Ability to work long hours, often under pressure.  Demonstrated ability to work within a matrix organization integrating knowledge of, and respect for, functions and reporting lines of other departments. High degree of self-organization, as well as highly successful communication, relationship, and engagement skills. Ability to spot and solve problems, requiring effective decision-making skills Job Experience 5 years’ post graduate experience (Out of which 2 years in a government or semi-government Facility). A consultant neurologist will be able to treat a range of conditions including Demyelinating diseases such as multiple sclerosis. Cerebrovascular diseases including stroke. Job Responsibilities 1 Diagnosing complex medical problems by referring to a patient’s history, examining them, and conducting neurological tests. Counseling patients on neurological disorders and their backgrounds. Ordering neurological tests and interpreting the results of neuroimaging studies. Prescribing and/or administering treatment and medication. Monitoring the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication. Ordering supportive care services for patients. The Cardiology Specialist is expected to supervise Assistant Specialists, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality cardiac care. Additionally, they will be involved in teaching, research, and continuous professional development. Job Responsibilities 1 Delivers advanced, evidence-based care for patients with a broad spectrum of cardiac conditions, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmia, and congenital heart disease. Assesses, diagnoses, and manages inpatients and outpatients with cardiac symptoms independently, as well as under the guidance of senior consultants, when necessary. Regularly performs and interprets diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterization, and uses findings to guide treatment plans. Leads daily rounds for inpatients and outpatients, coordinating patient care with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic management. Accurately documents all relevant patient information in a clear and timely fashion in accordance with the health record keeping policy. Oversees and performs cardiac procedures within the scope of their privileges, including catheterizations, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and electrophysiological studies, depending on their specialization. Supervises Assistant Cardiology Specialists, providing guidance in patient management, clinical procedures, and day-to-day responsibilities. Job Responsibilities 2 Offers mentorship to junior medical staff, ensuring their continued development in the field of cardiology. Takes an active role in the performance evaluation and professional development of junior team members. Participates in grand rounds, case discussions, and interdepartmental meetings, fostering collaborative care and a continuous learning environment.
