<span><br>POSITION SUMMARY<br>Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes. Test batteries in generators, emergency lighting, etc. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and current National Electric Code and local codes. Read and follow blueprints/schematics. Respond to repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, and appliances. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.<br>Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Elles transfèrent des volumes importants de fonds ainsi que des compétences acquises dans les pays de destination, générant des avantages positives pour les pays d’origine, notamment en matière de transfert de technologies et d’innovation au service du développement national. Les diasporas mobilisent également des ressources financières pour des investissements individuels ou collectifs, visant à améliorer les conditions de vie et/ou à générer des rendements économiques. Malgré cette importance croissante, les politiques relatives aux diasporas demeurent moins développées et insuffisamment prise en compte. Les envois de fonds constituent un levier essentiel du développement et ont des effets significatifs sur la croissance économique, en soutenant la consommation, l’investissement et les dépenses sociales (éducation, santé, protection sociale). Au cours des dernières années, les flux de transferts de fonds ont connu une augmentation notable et représentent désormais la principale source de financement externe dans de nombreux pays africains, dépassant l’aide publique au développement (APD) et les investissements directs étrangers (IDE). Toutefois, la contribution positive des diasporas internationaux, en particulier des envois de fonds, demeure insuffisamment valorisée. Malgré certains progrès, les efforts visant à tirer pleinement parti de ces contributions restent en deçà de leur potentiel, en particulier dans le contexte africain. Une meilleure compréhension de la contribution des diasporas et l’élaboration de politiques publiques adaptées, visant à les protéger et à les autonomiser, sont essentielles pour maximiser les bénéfices de la migration. Dans ce contexte, la CEA met en œuvre un programme intitulé « Renforcer le lien migration-développement en Afrique » (2024-2028) afin de renforcer les capacités de 6 pays à intégrer la contribution de la diaspora dans leurs stratégies nationales de développement. L’objectif est d’optimiser l’impact des transferts de fonds effectués par les travailleurs du secteur formel de la diaspora vers leur pays d’origine, contribuant ainsi à un développement durable. Aux Comores, ces transferts de fonds représentent une source essentielle de financement du développement (plus de 20 % du PIB) et leur utilisation pourrait être encore plus efficace si le cadre, politiques, réformes et les outils adéquats étaient mis en place pour les orienter vers l’investissement. Fonctions et responsabilités Sous la supervision directe du Chef de la Section des initiatives sous-régionales et du responsable de programme chargée des affaires économiques, et sous la supervision générale du Directeur du Bureau sous-régional pour l’Afrique du Nord, le consultant fournira un appui technique et opérationnel afin de faciliter l’intégration des contributions de la diaspora dans l’agenda de développement des Comores et l’élaboration d’un cadre adéquat permettant de mieux valoriser ces contributions.
