With over 20 years of combined expertise, the company delivers large-scale projects covering MEP works, HVAC, firefighting systems, IT solutions, CCTV, access control, and smart automation.</p><br><p>With a team of 85 professionals, including experienced engineers, and partnerships with leading technology providers, Smart Buildings Co is committed to delivering innovative, reliable, and high-quality solutions that meet international standards.</p><br><strong>Your Mission as a Project Coordinator:</strong><p>Your mission is to support the Project Manager in coordinating and monitoring MEP project activities to ensure smooth execution, effective communication between project teams, and timely completion of project requirements.</p><br><p>You will act as a key coordination point between engineers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders, ensuring that MEP works progress according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.</p><br><strong>You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as a Project Coordinator:</strong><ul><li><p>Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring MEP project activities.</p><br></li><li><p>Coordinate daily communication between MEP teams, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.</p><br></li><li><p>Follow up on project progress, site activities, and completion of assigned tasks.</p><br></li><li><p>Monitor MEP installation works to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.</p><br></li><li><p>Review project documents, drawings, technical submissions, and work schedules.</p><br></li><li><p>Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and site challenges.</p><br></li><li><p>Follow up on material requirements, deliveries, approvals, and site needs.</p><br></li><li><p>Prepare project updates, reports, meeting minutes, and progress tracking documents.</p><br></li><li><p>Support coordination between MEP disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).</p><br></li><li><p>Ensure that project actions, deadlines, and responsibilities are properly tracked and followed up.</p><br></li><li><p>Assist in identifying project risks, delays, and coordination issues and escalate them when required.</p><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as a Project Coordinator:</strong><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.</p><br></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>5 years of relevant experience</strong> in MEP projects, construction, or engineering coordination.</p><br></li><li><p>Experience working on <strong>MEP construction projects</strong> is required.</p><br></li><li><p>Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction processes, and engineering drawings.</p><br></li><li><p>Ability to coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.</p><br></li><li><p>Experience in project follow-up, reporting, documentation, and progress tracking.</p><br></li><li><p>Good knowledge of project coordination tools and systems.</p><br></li><li><p>Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.</p><br></li><li><p>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.</p><br></li><li><p>Proficiency in <strong>Arabic and English</strong>.</p><br></li><li><p>PMP certification is an advantage.</p><br></li></ul>Additional Information<ul><li><p><strong>Working Days &amp; Hours:</strong> Saturday to Thursday, 8 Hours per Day</p><br></li><li><p><strong>Location:</strong>Construction site- Benghazi- Libya</p><br></li></ul><p>#LI-DNP</p><br> </div>
