Almoassis is seeking an experienced Product Manager – Home Appliances to manage and develop our product portfolio in the Libyan market.
The Product Manager will be responsible for product planning, market analysis, pricing, sales performance, inventory planning, supplier coordination, and product development. The role requires close cooperation with the Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, Warehousing, and After-Sales teams.
Main responsibilities include:
Manage assigned home appliance categories and product lines.
Analyze the Libyan market, competitors, pricing, and customer demand.
Recommend new products and models based on market requirements.
Prepare annual and monthly sales forecasts and purchasing plans.
Monitor sales performance, stock levels, fast-moving and slow-moving items.
Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining healthy margins.
Analyze product profitability and performance.
Coordinate with international suppliers regarding specifications, pricing, new models, and product development.
Support product launches and marketing activities.
Prepare product information and training materials for the sales team.
Monitor competitors and recommend actions to improve market share.
Prepare regular reports for management covering sales, inventory, margins, forecasts, and market trends.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in home appliances, consumer electronics, retail, distribution, or FMCG.
Previous experience in Product Management, Category Management, Sales, or Purchasing is preferred.
Strong knowledge of pricing, inventory management, sales forecasting, and market analysis.
Strong analytical and commercial skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with ERP systems; Odoo experience is an advantage.
Good command of Arabic and English.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work with international suppliers.
Experience with air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, cooking appliances, or small domestic appliances is highly preferred.
Must be willing to work on-site in Al Khums, Libya.
