Job Responsibilities 1 <ul> <li>Determines the supply and equipment as per the schedule of dialysis procedure.</li> <li>Prepares the machines for procedures including calibrating, testing and monitoring dialysis equipment.</li> <li>Fixes and primes the extracorporeal circuit such as dialyzer, blood tubing for the appropriate dialysis procedure and performs the internal safety test.</li> <li>Prepares the specific dialysis solutions according to Nephrology physician orders.</li> <li>Checks hemodialysis solutions conductivity, PH, and electrolyte composition daily and records it, and corrects/reports any abnormal values.</li> <li>Obtains pharmaceutical supplies and equipment as requested by nephrologists.</li> <li>Connects patients to Hemodialysis and SLED and terminates the procedure at the end of the treatment.</li> <li>Sets up and prepares CRRT machine for treatment in critical care areas in different modalities such as CVVH, CVVHD, CVVHDF, and SCUF.</li> <li>Performs tests and procedures related to specific patient treatment such as UF profile, sodium profile, and single needle dialysis options.</li> <li>Continually monitors the machines functionality and patients’ vital signs when patient on hemodialysis and corrects any malfunction.</li> </ul> Sets up and prepares dialysis machines and portable reverse osmosis units at bedside in different patient units including but not limited to critical care, oncology, pediatric units. Job Responsibilities 1 Delivers advanced, evidence-based care for patients with a broad spectrum of cardiac conditions, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmia, and congenital heart disease. Assesses, diagnoses, and manages inpatients and outpatients with cardiac symptoms independently, as well as under the guidance of senior consultants, when necessary. Regularly performs and interprets diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterization, and uses findings to guide treatment plans. Leads daily rounds for inpatients and outpatients, coordinating patient care with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic management. Accurately documents all relevant patient information in a clear and timely fashion in accordance with the health record keeping policy. Oversees and performs cardiac procedures within the scope of their privileges, including catheterizations, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and electrophysiological studies, depending on their specialization. Modifies treatment plans and medication regimens based on the latest diagnostic results, ensuring alignment with best practices and evidence-based medicine. Supervises Assistant Cardiology Specialists, providing guidance in patient management, clinical procedures, and day-to-day responsibilities. Job Responsibilities 2 Offers mentorship to junior medical staff, ensuring their continued development in the field of cardiology. Takes an active role in the performance evaluation and professional development of junior team members. Participates in grand rounds, case discussions, and interdepartmental meetings, fostering collaborative care and a continuous learning environment. Provides support in anesthesia for routine and complex surgical cases by preparing and maintaining patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems before, during, and after anesthesia. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the licensed anesthesia provider in various settings, performing duties under the direct supervision of the licensed anesthesia provider, and providing support for routine surgical cases. Identifies safety concerns in the age-related population and is able to institute protective measures to provide a safe environment. The scope of responsibility, duties, and accountability at the facility department and position levels including knowledge and practice of the clinical/technical skills necessary to the position consistent with the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) Anesthesia Technologist Scope of Practice. Job Responsibilities 1 Provides assistance with invasive and non-invasive techniques (excluding the catheter insertion) which includes the following: direct systemic arterial, right arterial, central venous and pulmonary artery pressure measurements, patient monitoring and set up for anesthetic and respiratory gas, blood draw and placing EKG electrodes, blood pressure cuff and pulse oximetry on the patient. Assists the licensed anesthesia provider in difficult airway intubation by providing video laryngoscopy equipment and/or fiber optic intubation scope as requested. Knowledgeable in the techniques used in securing an open airway, e.g., jaw thrust, jaw lift, or tongue hold. Executes the Malignant Hyperthermia protocol as it pertains to the preparation of the anesthesia machine. Awareness of appropriate procedure to properly respond to codes and initiate the proper procedures to assist the licensed anesthesia provider and OR staff. Job Responsibilities 2 Maintains, stocks, cleans and organizes anesthesia carts Maintains medications within their expiration date and properly disposes of unused portions or remnants in appropriate containers. Appropriately sets up the room with all equipment and supplies needed for the implementing plan of care for each patient procedure. Controls and maintains all perioperative anesthesia equipment and devices. Handles equipment and instruments correctly to provide appropriate availability and safety. Responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, disinfecting, stocking, ordering, and maintaining routine anesthesia equipment and supplies.
