<p>Fast Waves Telecommunications and Technology Company announces its desire to fill the position of Inventory and Fixed Assets Accountant (Job Code: AST-03) to work at the headquarters, according to the following terms and requirements: <br>Job Title: Inventory and Fixed Assets Accountant Job Code: AST-03 Department: Inventory and Fixed Assets Department General Purpose of the Job: To be responsible for maintaining the fixed assets and inventory register and its movement, tracking the depreciation schedule, and reconciling records with physical inventory and financial management ledgers, ensuring the accuracy of asset and inventory values in financial statements. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Operational Tasks:</p><ul><li>Track inventory movement, both incoming and outgoing, in the records according to documents.</li><li>Maintain the fixed assets register and record additions, disposals, and transfers.</li><li>Prepare custody lists and follow up on their receipt signatures.</li><li>Code, organize, and manage products on the accounting system.</li></ul><p>Supervisory Tasks</p><ul><li>Reconcile inventory and asset records with the results of physical inventory and analyze variances.</li><li>Reconcile records with financial management ledgers on a monthly basis.</li><li>Identify and report non-tagged assets or assets without assigned custody.</li><li>Verify the existence of supporting documentation for every asset or item movement.</li></ul><p>Planning and Administrative Tasks</p><ul><li>Contribute to developing the department's plan and participate in preparing the spot and annual inventory plan.</li><li>Maintain asset documents and warranty certificates according to the approved filing system.</li></ul><p>Job Terms and Requirements<br>Nationality: Libyan Nationality Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting at a minimum Practical Experience: One year or more of experience in asset or inventory accounting Technical Skills</p><ul><li>Mastery of fixed assets accounting and depreciation methods</li><li>Experience in inventory valuation and inventory/reconciliation procedures</li></ul><p>Behavioral Skills: Accuracy, organization, independence of opinion, analysis, and integrity. Languages: Proficiency in Arabic, and a basic level of English. Programs and Systems: Working on asset and inventory systems, accounting systems, and Microsoft Excel.
