<p>Under the overall guidance of the Head of Project Development and Support Unit (PDSU) and the direct supervision of the Programme Support and Public Information Officer, the incumbent will support Client Libya s public information, communications, multimedia production and visibility activities, with a particular focus on the eastern and southern regions of Libya.</p><p>Collect interviews, testimonies to draft human-interest stories in written and multimedia formats, with the aim of producing at least one story per quarter.</p><p>Conduct regular field visits across eastern and southern Libya to document Client operations and activities through photographs, video footage, beneficiary stories, interviews and programme information for use across Client Libya s publications and communication channels.</p><p>Regularly capture, edit and produce high-quality photographs and video content showcasing Client activities, programmes and results for dissemination.</p><p>Produce at least one video story per month highlighting Client activities, programme results or donor-supported interventions, including content developed in line with specific project and donor communication requirements.</p><p>Support the development of multimedia content for Client Libya s social media platforms, website, publications, reports, newsletters, presentations and other communication products, ensuring accuracy, consistency and adherence to Client branding and communications standards.</p><p>Monitor relevant media and social media channels to identify coverage, public sentiment, misinformation, misreporting and emerging issues related to Client, migration and the Mission s areas of work; <br><p><span><span>Provides assistance with invasive and non-invasive techniques (excluding the catheter insertion) which includes the following: direct systemic arterial, right arterial, central venous and pulmonary artery pressure measurements, patient monitoring and set up for anesthetic and respiratory gas, blood draw and placing EKG electrodes, blood pressure cuff and pulse oximetry on the patient. </span></span></p><br>

Monitoring, reporting and communications capacity</p><br> <ul> <li>Track implementation of the communications plan and report regularly on outputs, reach, engagement, media uptake, campaign performance, lessons learned and recommended adjustments.</li> <li>Maintain clear evidence of publication and visibility and provide communications inputs to donor reports, proposals, situation reports, annual reports, results summaries and resource-mobilization materials.</li> <li>Support programme and partner colleagues to improve the quality of stories, photographs, captions, visibility materials and communications requests through practical guidance, templates and short coaching sessions.</li> <li>Perform other relevant communications tasks requested by the supervisor and consistent with the purpose, level and duration of the consultancy.</li> </ul> <p>Expected deliverables and payment schedule</p><br> <ol> <li> <p>The consultant will work full-time (21.75 days per month). Payments will be made monthly upon satisfactory completion and approval of the agreed outputs and performance report by UNFPA.
