Job Brief Are you an experienced engineering leader looking to work on large and prestigious construction projects? We are looking for a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead engineering activities for major capital projects in Qatar. This role is ideal for a professional who has strong experience in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering and enjoys leading teams, managing complex projects, and delivering high-quality results. You will play a key role in coordinating multiple disciplines, driving project success, and ensuring all engineering activities meet industry standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities Lead engineering activities for major construction and infrastructure projects. Coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines. Manage project planning, design reviews, and engineering deliverables. Ensure projects are executed according to approved schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Work closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders. Support the design and construction of buildings located near coastal areas. Monitor engineering progress and resolve technical challenges. Ensure compliance with local regulations, project requirements, and industry best practices. Lead and mentor engineering teams to achieve project goals. Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and project delivery.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related discipline). Minimum 15 years of total work experience in engineering and project execution. At least 8 years of experience as a Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineer on major capital projects valued at QR 100 Million+. Minimum 10 years of experience in the Arabian Gulf region. Strong experience in design and construction of buildings near coastal environments. Proven experience in coordinating multiple engineering disciplines on large projects. Previous experience delivering projects in line with Qatar Energy standards. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Qatar UPDA Grade A certification is highly preferred.
