connectalents, the leading recruitment & HRO company in MENA is currently hiring Director – Commercial & Trading (Ammonia / Urea) for a leading fertilizer producer, responsible for leading global ammonia and urea sales, trading strategy, and international market expansion. Key Responsibilities:Lead global commercial strategy for ammonia and urea across key international markets Own and drive international sales performance, revenue growth, and market expansion Develop and manage relationships with key global buyers, traders, and distributors Define pricing strategies aligned with global commodity trends and market dynamics Lead contract negotiations including L/C structures, Incoterms (FOB, CFR, CIF), and shipping terms Oversee export operations in coordination with logistics, supply chain, and port operations Monitor global fertilizer market trends, supply-demand shifts, and competitor positioning Lead, mentor, and develop a multicultural commercial and trading team Requirements:20+ years of experience in fertilizers / ammonia or urea trading. Proven experience in international markets and export sales. Strong background in commodity trading, pricing, and contract negotiation Hands-on experience with Letters of Credit (L/C), Incoterms, and shipping logistics MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree (mandatory) Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Work Location Location: Algeria (Relocation role) – Open to GCC-based candidates
