Role Overview As a Senior Quality Assurance Tester at Jazr.io, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and stability of our accounting Saa S platform. This role goes beyond traditional UI testing — it focuses on validating financial logic, accounting outputs, and data integrity across real-world scenarios. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to test the first production releases of a specialized accounting system for restaurants and cafés. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts covering core accounting workflows (invoicing, purchases, expenses, taxes). Create detailed test cases to validate accounting results against expected financial standards (COGS, income statement, assets, VAT, etc.). Simulate real business data flows (supplier invoices, operational expenses, purchases) and compare system outputs with expected numeric results. Build and execute regression testing suites to ensure financial calculations are not broken with new releases. Perform manual testing where automation is not suitable, especially in early-stage features. Test APIs and user interfaces, ensuring consistency between data inputs and accounting outputs. Identify defects, analyze root causes, and deliver clear, structured defect reports. Collaborate closely with developers in an Agile/Dev Ops environment to resolve issues efficiently. Contribute to improving overall QA processes and test coverage. Requirements3+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance (preferably in Saa S, ERP, CRM, or Accounting systems). Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and API testing tools like Postman. Proven ability to design test scenarios that end with precise numeric results — and confidently judge whether results are correct or incorrect. Solid experience in API testing and UI testing. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect cause and effect, especially in data-driven systems. High attention to detail and strong debugging skills. Comfortable working in Agile / Dev Ops teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
