Our client, a leading global medical healthcare organization, is s seeking an SAP SD Lead to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Sales and Distribution solutions across global business operations. In this role, you will own end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, drive solution design, ensure system integration, and support business transformation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient SAP SD solutions. This position requires a hands-on SAP SD expert with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery experience.

The selected candidate must be flexible to work in the client’s preferred time zone, which may include EST or CEST.

Job Requirements:
Lead end-to-end SAP SD solution design covering Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, and Credit Management
Conduct business process workshops and translate business requirements into functional designs
Ensure alignment of SAP SD solutions with business objectives, compliance requirements, and SAP best practices
Own functional design documentation, process flows, and configuration specifications
Configure SAP SD modules, including pricing procedures, sales documents, delivery processing, billing, and returns
Support SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and rollouts
Coordinate with technical teams for custom developments, enhancements, and integrations
Ensure seamless integration with MM, FI, WM/EWM, and third-party systems
Analyze end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
Drive process harmonization and standardization across regions or business units
Benchmark processes against industry best practices and recommend optimization strategies
Support continuous improvement initiatives post go-live
Lead unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
Support data validation, cutover planning, and go-live readiness
Provide hypercare and post-go-live stabilization support
Act as the primary SAP SD point of contact for business stakeholders and project leadership
Provide guidance and mentorship to SAP SD consultants and offshore teams
Communicate risks, dependencies, and progress effectively to project stakeholders
Support SAP transformation initiatives, including global rollouts, template deployments, and process redesign
Participate in project governance, status reporting, and delivery planning
Ensure alignment with Agile or SAP Activate methodologies where applicable


Requirements

6 + years of SAP SD experience with at least 1–2 full lifecycle implementations
Strong expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA SD preferred
Deep knowledge of pricing, billing, credit management, and sales order processing
Experience leading SAP SD workstreams or teams
Strong understanding of SAP integration points with MM, FI, and logistics modules
Experience supporting system upgrades, enhancements, and global rollouts
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with global or multi-country SAP implementations
Familiarity with SAP Activate or Agile delivery methodologies
Exposure to SAP TM, EWM, or third-party logistics integrations
Experience in change management, training, or business process governance
