Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Saudi Arabia. The Business Unit Manager – Medium Voltage is responsible for leading and managing the Medium Voltage factory business unit, including strategy, operations, financial performance, sales coordination, product development, and pre-qualification approval for the MV product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Strategic & Business Management Define and implement the Medium Voltage business unit strategy aligned with company objectives. Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share for MV products (switchgear, panels, RMUs, etc.). Develop business plans, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs for the MV business unit. Identify new market opportunities, customers, and product development initiatives. Operations & Production Oversee factory operations for MV products, ensuring efficient production planning, capacity utilization, and cost control. Ensure on-time delivery, high quality, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, quality, and supply chain teams to optimize production flow. Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE) and local regulations. Sales & Customer Management Support sales teams with technical, commercial, and strategic input for MV projects and tenders. Review and approve quotations, pricing strategies, and contracts. Maintain strong relationships with key customers, consultants, utilities, and contractors. Handle escalations related to customer complaints, delivery issues, or technical challenges. Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams (engineering, production, QA/QC, sales support). Set performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.10+ years of experience in Medium Voltage manufacturing or electrical power systems. Proven experience in a managerial or business unit leadership role. Strong knowledge of MV products, factory operations, and project-based manufacturing. Solid understanding of financial management, costing, and pricing.
