About the Role

Guildhall is running the search for a group operating in the FMCG and retail sector in Libya. This role owns a newly built, multi-purpose distribution centre end to end warehousing, fleet, inventory receiving, security and support services across wholesale, retail and shared-service operations. The group has invested in a modern distribution facility with multiple storage types and a vehicle fleet. It is a rare single-site mandate: one operator, full operational authority, reporting directly to the GM.

The role

• Run all logistics operations at a large multi-purpose distribution centre in Benghazi
• Own warehousing, inventory receiving, fleet and transportation across wholesale and retail
• Supervise on-site security and facility support services
• Lead ERP-based inventory control, stock reconciliation and receiving across all storage types
• Act as the main link between the distribution centre and senior group leadership
• Build KPIs, budgets and reporting discipline across the operation
• Lead and develop DC managers and supervisors, building teams from the ground up
