Position: Norwegian Language Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $10 - $45/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities Record high-quality audio samples in Norwegian, ensuring clear pronunciation and minimal background noise. Transcribe and annotate audio data with meticulous attention to detail, following established guidelines. Evaluate the quality of speech data, providing constructive feedback and ensuring accuracy in labeling. Collaborate closely with the customer s team to support sophisticated AI workflow processes. Utilize phonetic knowledge to ensure correct pronunciation and intonation in all recordings. Maintain organized records of audio files, annotations, and evaluation results.
Requirements Have native or near-native proficiency in Norwegian, with a strong command of pronunciation and linguistic nuances. Experience in audio recording, such as voice acting, podcasting, music production, or similar roles is highly valued. Familiarity with speech data collection and AI workflows is preferred, but not required. Demonstrate keen attention to detail for accurate transcription and annotation tasks. Awareness of phonetics and standard Norwegian pronunciation is essential. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in providing feedback and collaborating remotely.
