Senior Contracts Specialist – International Contracts Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Purpose To lead the preparation of contractual documents, including the drafting, negotiation, and finalization of technical and commercial terms and conditions. This role ensures that all contractual outputs meet RFP/RFI/RFQ requirements and are fully consistent with contract management policies and procedures .
Key Responsibilities Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements (NDAs, Project Agreements, Sale & Purchase, Licensing, Supply, and Services Agreements). Finalize technical and commercial terms in coordination with Program Managers, Legal, and Finance departments . Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead meetings with international customers, suppliers, and internal project teams to interpret RFP/RFQ/RFI requirements. Assess high-level risks associated with pre- and post-award contract administration . Risk & Compliance Management: Analyze final scopes of service to identify commercial and technical risks. Implement risk mitigation measures and ensure strict compliance with global trade regulations, export controls (ITAR/EAR), and company policies . Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage all aspects of contract execution, including amendments, modifications, and correspondence regarding scope, cost, and schedule changes. Ensure all documentation is maintained per quality management and information security policies .
Experience & Education Experience: Minimum of 8 years of contract management experience in the public or private sector, with specific exposure to international contracts . Industry Experience: Experience within a defence engineering organization is required . Education:Preferred: Master's degree in Contract Management, Business Administration (MBA), or Legislative Law (LLB). Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Contract Management, Business Administration, or LLB .
