Position: Legal Expert

Compensation: $40 - $110/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and redline commercial contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and business objectives. Provide expert input on matters relating to employment law, structured finance, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions. Evaluate and advise on Saa S Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to identify areas of risk and recommend improvements. Interpret complex regulatory requirements and shape guidelines for compliance within evolving legal landscapes. Assess data privacy policies and practices in accordance with international standards and regulations. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to clarify legal concepts and deliver clear, actionable written feedback.

Requirements

Have an active Bar membership and be in good standing. Have a minimum of of experience practicing law, with a demonstrable track record in commercial contracts, employment law, and structured finance. Possess deep knowledge of private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. Demonstrate proficiency in contract redlining and negotiation, with attention to detail and accuracy. Have hands-on experience reviewing and advising on Saa S MSAs and data privacy matters. Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex legal concepts for diverse audiences.
