About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team at SEHA Pure Health in AE. The successful candidate will provide specialized surgical and non-surgical care to paediatric patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans for paediatric orthopaedic conditions- Conduct surgical procedures including corrective osteotomies, fracture management, and deformity corrections- Manage congenital and acquired musculoskeletal disorders in children- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation- Participate in on-call duties as required- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
Qualifications:- MBBS or equivalent medical degree- Board certification in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery (American Board, MRCS/FRCS, or equivalent)- Minimum 5 years of post-certification experience in paediatric orthopaedic surgery- Current medical license to practice in AE (or eligibility to obtain)- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Commitment to providing patient-centered care
Preferred Skills:- Experience with minimally invasive surgical techniques- Fellowship training in paediatric orthopaedics- Teaching and research experience- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
