Schedule Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities Make follow-up calls to patients after medical procedures or surgeries. Use an electronic medical record (EMR) system to document patient status and responses. Follow templated questionnaires to gather relevant patient information. Identify and flag any post-operative complications for clinic staff attention. Alert clinic staff when unable to reach patients. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to healthcare privacy standards. Remote work using provided software systems. Handle confidential patient information with strict adherence to privacy guidelines. Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements Insurance verification and authorization experience. Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Proficiency in using computers and learning new software systems. Professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients. Excellent English skills with clear pronunciation, strong verbal communication, and active listening. Ability to type accurately and efficiently. High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
