Position: Dev Ops Engineer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $30 - $80/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure using cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Implement and streamline CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments across environments. Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate clusters with Kubernetes. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with tools like Terraform and Ansible. Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions. Ensure robust access management and secrets handling leveraging IAM and secrets management tools.

Requirements

Have strong relevant experience in Linux system administration and fundamental networking concepts. Have hands-on experience with Digital Ocean, AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms. Be proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code practices. Have knowledge of IAM principles, secrets management, and enforcing security best practices. Have experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
