We are partnering with a leading, international FMCG business undergoing a significant phase of growth and market expansion across Turkey. As part of this journey, we are seeking a high-calibre Commercial Sales Director to lead the country’s commercial agenda, drive revenue growth, and strengthen market position across multiple channels.
This is a critical leadership role with full ownership of the sales strategy, execution, and performance across Turkey.
POSITION WILL REQUIRE RELOCATION TO TURKEY
The Role Reporting into the regional leadership team, you will take full accountability for the commercial performance of the Turkish market. You will lead and develop a high-performing sales organisation while driving sustainable growth across modern trade, traditional trade, and key accounts. You will play a key role in shaping go-to-market strategies, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring best-in-class execution across all sales channels.
Key Responsibilities Define and execute the country commercial strategy aligned with regional objectives Lead all sales channels including modern trade, traditional trade, wholesale, and distributors Drive top-line growth, profitability, and market share expansion Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team across Turkey Own relationships with key retail partners and strategic accounts Develop and implement pricing, promotion, and trade investment strategies Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure aligned execution Identify new business opportunities, routes to market, and channel expansion strategies Deliver robust forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
Candidate Profile Proven experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role within FMCGStrong track record of delivering revenue growth and market share gains Deep understanding of the Turkish retail landscape and route-to-market dynamics Experience managing key accounts and distributor networks Demonstrated ability to lead and scale large, high-performing teams Strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L ownership Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused approach Excellent stakeholder management skills, both locally and regionally Fluent in Turkish and English
