Position: Lightworks - Post-Production Specialist Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $50 - $100/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities Review and evaluate AI-generated instructions related to advanced NLE workflows and editing operations. Audit AI understanding of Lightworks features including multi-cam workflows, Shark console functionality, and VFX routing. Validate export and delivery workflows including EDL/XML compatibility and AVID/Pro Tools interchange formats. Assess AI accuracy in describing Lightworks interface behavior and layout configurations. Test and troubleshoot AI assistance for metadata handling and collaborative project-sharing workflows. Provide expert feedback on node-based VFX techniques and cinematic color grading processes. Document findings and communicate insights clearly to support continuous AI improvement.
Requirements Strong mastery of Lightworks with expertise in keyboard-driven editing workflows. In-depth knowledge of professional video editing and post-production techniques. Strong experience with media management, proxy workflows, and asset organization. Hands-on experience with node-based visual effects and LUT color grading workflows. Strong problem-solving abilities in resolving complex technical and metadata-related issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Background as a Film Editor, Post-Production Specialist, or Video Producer.
