Job Description: Propulsion Integration Engineer IILocation Abu Dhabi, UAEDepartment Engineering – Propulsion Systems
Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on engineer responsible for the design, development, and integration of air handling and fluid systems for a small turbojet and turbofan engines. The role covers intake aerodynamics, exhaust nozzle design, and supporting systems including fuel, lubrication, and actuation hardware (solenoids, pumps, valves, and piping).
Key Responsibilities1. Intake System Design- Design and optimize engine air intake- Perform CFD analysis- Ensure compatibility with configurations
2. Exhaust Nozzle Design- Design nozzle geometry- Optimize thrust and backpressure
3. Fluid & Actuation Systems- Select pumps, solenoids, valves- Define fuel and lubrication systems
4. Piping & Routing Design- Design fuel, oil, pneumatic lines- Perform pressure drop calculations
5. Testing & Validation Support- Support engine testing and troubleshooting- Define instrumentation and test requirements- Analyze test data and correlate with predictions Required Qualifications- Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering- 5–8 years of relevant experience Technical Skills- Compressible flow, thermodynamics- CFD tools (ANSYS, Fluent)- CAD tools (Solid Works, NX, CATIA)- Knowledge of fuel and lubrication systems Preferred Experience- Turbojet or gas turbine experience- Test cell experience- fast paced environment experience
Please note that this role is fully on-site and would require relocation to the UAE.
