These categories are already organized as part of Solution Mall’s IDC equipment system, together with technical resources and sales playbooks.2) Role Overview We are looking for an IT Engineer – Server Room & IT Infrastructure Equipment to support projects and technical work across the Middle East region, excluding Saudi Arabia and the UAE. This is a part-time role and can also be understood as a flexible cooperation-based technical position. However, the focus of this role is primarily on technical capability, not pure sales or general project coordination. We are looking for someone who has practical knowledge of server room equipment, IT infrastructure hardware, and supporting facility products, and who can help with:technical product understandingequipment matching and configuration supportrequirement clarificationquotation and product selection supportproject-related technical communicationbasic customer-facing technical support Business development and market support are part of the role, but they are secondary. The priority is to find someone who can truly understand the technical side of IT room and infrastructure equipment and contribute to actual projects.3) Key Responsibilities Technical Support for IT Infrastructure Equipment Support technical work related to server room and IT infrastructure equipment Assist in understanding project requirements and matching suitable equipment categories Provide technical support for products such as:modular data center systems UPS systems PDU systemsindoor racks and cabinetsoutdoor cabinetsair conditioning systemspower and environmental monitoring devices Help review basic technical requirements, product suitability, and equipment configuration direction These product categories are already part of Solution Mall’s centralized IDC equipment suite and are supported by product catalog, technical resources, and sales support materials. Requirement Clarification & Product Selection Support the clarification of customer requirements related to server room and IT supporting equipment Help translate project needs into structured equipment lists or product direction Assist in checking whether selected equipment matches basic project conditions and application requirements Support quotation preparation, product comparison, and technical communication during solution matching Project Technical Coordination Work with Solution Mall teams to support technical communication during project follow-up Assist in answering customer questions related to equipment categories, application scenarios, and basic configuration Support coordination between customer requirements, equipment selection, and project progress Help ensure that technical communication remains clear during quotation, order, and delivery stages Basic Business Support Support local business follow-up when technical explanation is needed Assist in following project leads and customer opportunities related to server room and IT infrastructure equipment Help with practical coordination during RFQ follow-up, quotation discussion, and order-related communication This business support direction is consistent with Solution Mall’s cooperation model, which includes customer development, project opportunity tracking, RFQ follow-up, and order docking, but in this role those tasks should support the technical work rather than replace it. Market & Technical Feedback Share local feedback on customer preferences, equipment demand, competitor situations, and project conditions Provide practical suggestions based on local market and project-side technical needs Help Solution Mall improve technical response and regional support for IT infrastructure opportunities4) Qualifications Required2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:server room equipment IT infrastructure hardwaredata center supporting equipmenttechnical support for UPS / PDU / racks / cabinets IT project technical coordination Basic to practical understanding of products such as:UPSPDUindoor racksoutdoor cabinetscooling or air conditioning related equipmentpower and environmental monitoring devices Ability to understand customer requirements and support product matching or equipment configuration Good communication skills for technical discussions Comfortable working in a part-time and flexible role Working proficiency in English Preferred Experience with modular data center or server room related projects Experience supporting quotations, product selection, or equipment configuration for IT infrastructure projects Familiarity with local contractors, distributors, integrators, or project-based customers in the Middle East Arabic or other regional language skills are a strong advantage5) Coverage This role focuses on the Middle East region excluding Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
