Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience to join our project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment in project-based environments. The role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to work on-site, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment according to project specifications and drawings. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and mechanical components. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals. Support project execution by ensuring timely completion of assigned mechanical tasks. Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure smooth project operations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Conduct routine inspections and report any defects or issues. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Prepare basic reports on work performed and materials used.
Requirements:Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in projects (construction or industrial). Good knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Willingness to work on-site and in different project locations. Basic knowledge of safety procedures and regulations. Good communication and teamwork skills.
