Position: Libre CAD Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $20 - $120/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end 2D drafting projects using Libre CAD from concept to final technical drawings. Create precise geometries using snaps, constraints, and structured drafting workflows. Set up and manage drawing units, layers, and blocks for clarity and consistency. Apply dimensioning, annotation, and detailing aligned with manufacturing requirements. Prepare and export files in standard formats such as DXF for CAM workflows. Communicate drafting decisions and reasoning to support AI model training. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share best practices and insights.

Requirements

Strong experience using Libre CAD for professional 2D drafting projects. Proficiency in Auto CAD and standard 2D CAD workflows. Solid understanding of Computer-Aided Manufacturing concepts. Ability to manage complete drafting projects independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and precision in technical drawings. Ability to organize, annotate, and export drawings for manufacturing use.
