Position: Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $80–$150/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert on occupational health and safety for training initiatives. Review and evaluate safety practices, policies, and documentation for accuracy and relevance. Curate and validate content aligned with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Translate complex safety scenarios into structured, AI-readable formats. Identify gaps or inconsistencies in training materials and recommend improvements.
Requirements Strong professional background in occupational health and safety and regulatory compliance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and analytical thinking. Experience interpreting safety data, policies, and incident reports. Comfortable collaborating remotely with cross-functional, technology-focused teams.
