On behalf of a growing international company, we are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen the organization’s security posture, protect digital assets, and ensure compliance with regional and international security standards. This role is ideal for a proactive security professional experienced in threat detection, risk management, and cloud security within distributed environments. Key Responsibilities Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across cloud and on-premise environments Implement and manage security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability scanners Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate penetration testing Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies Secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) following industry standards Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and other relevant regulatory frameworks Investigate security breaches and perform root cause analysis Collaborate with IT and Dev Ops teams to implement secure architecture principles Provide security awareness training and guidance to internal teams Maintain documentation for audits and compliance reviews Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related field4+ years of experience in Cyber Security or Information Security roles Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and best practices Understanding of compliance standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001Security certifications are highly preferred (CISSP, CEH, CISM, Security+) Strong analytical and incident response skills Ability to work independently in a fully remote, cross-border environment Job Details Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Remote (Open to candidates across EMEA) Industry: Technology / Software / Digital Services
