Job Summary
We are seeking a Dev Ops Infrastructure Engineer to support and operate our Dev Ops Toolchain. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience administering Git Lab, Jenkins, Nexus, Azure Dev Ops, Argo CD, and Red Hat Open Shift, along with solid exposure to VMware virtualization, Linux systems, and enterprise backup solutions.
Role is heavily focused on Dev Ops Platform Administration, CI/CD Infrastructure reliability, Container platforms, and Automation by ensuring platform stability, scalability, security, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities
Dev Ops Platform & Toolchain Administration
Administer, maintain, and Dev Ops tools, including Git Lab, Jenkins, Nexus Repository Manager, Azure Dev Ops, Argo CD
Ensure high availability, performance tuning, upgrades, and patching of Dev Ops platforms.
Implement best practices for CI/CD reliability, security, and scalability.
Support Dev Ops teams with issues, integrations, and deployment automation.
Container & Open Shift Operations
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Open Shift clusters in production and non-production environments.
Manage cluster upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
Support application deployments using Kubernetes/Open Shift constructs
Integrate Open Shift with CI/CD tools and Git Ops workflows (Argo CD).
Infrastructure & Virtualization
Manage and support VMware infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, v Center, clusters, resource pools, and virtual machines.
Perform infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management to support Dev Ops platforms.
Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and virtualization layers.
Backup, Recovery & Reliability
Administer Cohesity backup and recovery platforms, ensuring Reliable backup schedules, Successful restores and DR testing, Compliance with organizational data protection standards
Ensure backup coverage for Dev Ops tools, Open Shift components, and supporting infrastructure.
Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability for Dev Ops platforms.
Collaboration
Troubleshoot and resolve high-severity incidents across Dev Ops tools, Open Shift, VMware, and backup systems.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions.
Work closely with Dev Ops Application Teams, Network Teams, and Security teams to support deployments and project initiatives.
Document configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), architecture, and changes.
Stay current with emerging Dev Ops, container, and automation technologies and continuously upskill.


Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience administering Dev Ops tools, especially Git Lab, Jenkins, Nexus Repository Manager, Azure Dev Ops, Argo CD
Solid experience operating Red Hat Open Shift / Kubernetes in production.
Strong Linux system administration experience (RHEL/Cent OS preferred).
Proven experience with VMware (ESXi, v Center, clusters, VMs).
Nice-to-Have
Experience working with or supporting products from Red Hat, VMware, or Cohesity.
Knowledge of security best practices for Dev Ops platforms and Kubernetes.
Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management practices.
