In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side logic, APIs, and infrastructure that power our products. You'll work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
What You'll Be Doing:Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure back-end services & APIsCollaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic Work closely with product & design teams to deliver new features and improvements Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability Manage databases, data storage solutions, and infrastructure Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
What We're Looking For:Strong experience in back-end development using languages like Node.js, Python, Go, Rust, or Java Experience building RESTful APIs and working with databases (SQL & NoSQL) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) Understanding of security best practices and API authentication Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset Good communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly
