We are acting on behalf of a fast-growing retail business with an established presence in the Middle East and the UK, and an expanding international footprint.
THE ROLE WILL REQUIRE RELOCATION TO SAUDI ARABIA
This is a hands-on Supply Chain Manager role, suited to a commercially minded operator who is comfortable working close to execution rather than in a purely strategic or head-office capacity.
Remit Reporting into senior leadership, the Supply Chain Manager will take ownership of the end-to-end international supply chain, supporting retail stores, e-commerce, and wholesale partners. Key responsibilities include:Managing sourcing and production flows from India and China Overseeing international import and export operations into the Middle East, UK, and other global markets Taking direct ownership of freight forwarding, including forwarder selection, rate negotiation, shipment planning, and cost control Managing customs clearance and compliance, working closely with clearing agents and authorities across multiple jurisdictions Supporting the set-up and optimisation of new trade lanes as the business expands internationally Working cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, retail operations, and finance Operating in a practical, execution-focused role, with accountability for delivery, timelines, and cost
Candidate Profile The successful candidate is likely to have:Experience managing retail or consumer supply chains in the Middle East Proven responsibility for international import and export (not domestic-only operations) Hands-on experience with freight forwarding and customs, from the brand or retailer side Experience working with Asia-based suppliers (India and China essential) A pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset suited to a manager-level role Strong communication skills and the ability to operate in a growing, entrepreneurial environment
Experience supporting European and/or US market expansion is advantageous, but strong execution capability in global trade and logistics is essential.
