Job Title: Sales Officer
Job Overview The Sales Officer is responsible for supporting the achievement of company sales targets by identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, offering suitable solutions, and building long-term professional relationships. The role contributes directly to the company’s growth, customer satisfaction, and sustainability through effective sales practices and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new sales opportunities through phone calls, emails, and direct communication with potential customers. Understand customer needs, qualify leads, and successfully close sales in line with approved policies and procedures. Maintain and update customer records and databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Coordinate closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, prepare reports, and submit recommendations to management. Comply fully with sales management policies, maintain work discipline, and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service.
Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle a high volume of daily calls. Excellent sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Active listening skills and the ability to deliver clear and professional presentations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Professional attitude, polite communication style, and positive mindset. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build strong working relationships.
Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of experience in sales or a related field. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
