System Architect The System Architect defines and maintains the global system architecture of the turbofan and ensure technical coherence across all subsystems.
Key Responsibilities• Define and support the functional architecture and system breakdown structure to ensure performance compliance of the product.• Allocate and manage system-level requirements.• Lead trade-offs between performance, cost, weight, and durability.• Maintain interface control documents (ICDs).• Ensure architectural consistency throughout development phases an din interface with Product Management line, Module Manager, Certification and Safety engineers, Integration & Test teams
Qualifications & Experience Minimum 8 years of experience within turbofan propulsion, aerospace, or other complex engineered systems Solid understanding of turbofan architectures and test plan-validation, engine performance (including engine build-up and dressing, AGB, ECU, modules FAN/LPC/HPC/HPT/LPT/TRF/OGV…, sub-systems and their integration constraints) Strong knowledge System engineering, MBSE (Sys ML, V-Cycle…), functional declination, methodologies and standards Knowledge of certification scheme (CS-E) and safety principles (FHA, PSSA…) Exposure to customer, OEMs, authorities and complex environment
Skills Sense of detail with a macro vision Ability to anticipate impacts (life-cycle cost, planning, safety, performance) and arbitrate Ability to analyze and structure complex information into actionable product decision under pressure with a sense of urgency Ability to work in a multicultural environment, across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial teams High communication skills, synthesis mindset, team player
