About the Restaurant We are a French cuisine restaurant in Baku, dedicated to delivering authentic flavors, seasonal menus, and exceptional dining experiences. Our kitchen blends classic French techniques with modern presentation, using high-quality local and imported ingredients.
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of French cuisine, strong leadership skills, and a passion for culinary excellence. You will be responsible for menu development, kitchen management, food quality, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and consistency. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute authentic French menus (à la carte, tasting menus, specials) Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation Oversee daily kitchen operations, scheduling, and workflow Manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards Collaborate with management on concept development and seasonal offerings Control waste and optimize kitchen efficiency Requirements & Qualifications Proven experience as a Head Chef in a French cuisine restaurant Strong knowledge of classical and modern French cooking techniques Leadership and team-management experience Ability to work under pressure in a high-standard environment Strong organizational and cost-control skills Knowledge of international food safety and hygiene standards Culinary degree or formal training preferred Experience working in a French brasserie What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Opportunity to lead and shape a respected French kitchen in Baku Professional, supportive working environment Growth and creative freedom within the restaurant concept
