About the role We are looking for a Fiat Operations Specialist to support daily operations of our fiat on/off-ramp infrastructure. This role is highly execution-focused and centered around workflow ticket management, cross-team coordination, and operational follow-ups across multiple fiat channels (banks, PSPs, cards, local rails, etc.). You will work closely with Fiat Gateway, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Tech, Treasury and external partners to ensure smooth day-to-day processing and timely resolution of issues.
Key Responsibilities Workflow&Ticket Management Own and process workflow tickets related to fiat gateways across multiple channels (bank transfers, cards, local rails) and multiple regions (LATAM, SEA, EU etc);Triage incoming tickets: identify root cause, prioritize urgency, and route to the correct team (Tech, Risk, Compliance, Treasury);Track ticket status end-to-end and ensure timely resolution within agreed SLAs;Follow up on pending actions and proactively chase internal or external stakeholders when needed. Operational Support Support daily fiat operations including deposit/withdrawal issues, channel availability, limits, fees, and settlement-related queries;Assist with testing and maintenance of new fiat channels or providers (UAT support, checklist follow-ups, coordination);Help monitor channel health (downtime, degradation, user impact) and escalate issues accordingly. Cross-Team Coordination Act as a communication bridge between Fiat Gateway and other teams (Risk, Compliance, Tech, Treasury, Support); Support preparation of operational updates, summaries, and incident reports. Documentation&Process Improvement Maintain and update internal documentation, SOPs, and ticketing guidelines;Identify recurring issues or bottlenecks and suggest process improvements;Support basic data tracking (ticket volumes, resolution time, recurring issues by channel). Requirements1–3 years of experience in operations, from payments, fintech, crypto, banking industry, or customer support operations. Basic data analysis skills (Excel/Sheets, simple dashboards). Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities simultaneously. Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across different time zones. Strong written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus). Detail-oriented, reliable, and execution-driven mindset. Nice to Have Experience with fiat on/off-ramps, PSP integrations, or payment operations. Exposure to AML, Risk, or Compliance workflows. Hands-on experience working with ticketing/workflow systems (e.g. Jira, Service Now, Zendesk, internal tools). Good understanding of payment flows (bank transfers, cards, PSPs) — crypto/fiat experience is a strong plus. What Success Looks Like Workflow tickets are handled accurately, on time, and with minimal escalation. Internal teams experience smoother coordination with Fiat Gateway. Operational issues are surfaced early, tracked clearly, and resolved faster. Documentation and processes become clearer and more scalable over time.
