Role Overview:
We are supporting a growing biologics-focused Biotech in the build-out of its global CMC organization. This is a newly created CMC leadership role with broad responsibility across the full development lifecycle for antibody-based programs. The position reports into a senior CMC leader and will play a key role in establishing and scaling overseas CMC capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide CMC leadership across the full biologics lifecycle, from process development through drug substance and drug product, including formulation Support antibody and ADC programs from early clinical stages through late-stage development, with future readiness for commercial scale Act as a technical interface between internal teams and external partners, including CDMOs and development vendors Contribute to CMC strategy, development planning, and regulatory readiness across global programs Support the build-out of global CMC processes and ways of working in an early-stage international setup
Candidate Profile:
PhD in a life sciences discipline Approximately 6–10 years of post-PhD experience in CMC roles within biotech or CDMO environments Strong hands-on experience across biologics CMC, including process development, DS/DP and formulation Fluent Mandarin and English are required Prior experience working across international teams is essential; exposure to both Western and Asian business environments is highly desirable
