Job Descriptionmicro1 is hiring a Japanese Language Expert to support advanced AI language model development for a global technology client. In this role, you will work on training, evaluating, and improving AI-generated content by applying your linguistic expertise in Japanese and English.
Key Responsibilities Annotate and review bilingual Japanese–English language data Evaluate text for grammatical accuracy, semantic clarity, and cultural relevance Review and improve AI-generated content to ensure natural language quality Provide detailed linguistic feedback to improve AI model outputs Follow annotation and quality guidelines while meeting productivity targets Document findings and collaborate with internal teams as required
Required Skills & Qualifications Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese with strong English skills Experience in linguistics, data annotation, writing, editing, or language QAStrong understanding of Japanese and English grammar and cultural nuances Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment Interest in AI, NLP, and language technology
