Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer to architect, scale, secure, and optimize our cloud infrastructure supporting high-volume, low-latency interactive advertising systems. You will help in the design of automation-driven infrastructure, ensure platform reliability for global ad delivery, and collaborate closely with engineering, Dev Ops, and data teams to enable rapid innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure supporting our ad-tech platforms. Architect high-availability and low-latency systems for real-time ad execution, user interactions, and analytics. Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation) and CI/CD pipelines. Optimize AWS resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Automate deployments, monitoring, and operational workflows. Ensure security and compliance across all layers of cloud architecture (IAM, encryption, policies, networking). Monitor production environments, conduct root cause analysis, and lead performance optimization efforts. Build and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for proactive reliability. Collaborate with software engineers, SREs, and data engineers to support scalable delivery pipelines. Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for production systems. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to long-term infrastructure strategy.
Qualifications:
5-8+ years of infrastructure engineering experience, including 3+ years hands-on AWS. Expertise in core AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Cloud Watch, IAM, Route53. Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and distributed system design. Proficiency with Terraform or Cloud Formation, and scripting in Python, Bash, or Power Shell. Experience running production workloads at scale, ideally in ad-tech, streaming, or real-time platforms. Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Git Lab, Code Pipeline, etc.). Strong grasp of cloud security best practices. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Cloud Watch). Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Dev Ops Engineer – Professional certification. Experience with high-volume ad-serving, real-time bidding, or streaming data pipelines. Familiarity with distributed caching and event-driven systems (Kafka, Kinesis, Redis). Strong understanding of cost governance for high-traffic AWS workloads. Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth technology environment.
