Arar Company for Importing Foodstuffs announces its need to appoint a highly experienced and capable Finance Director to join the team and contribute to managing and organizing the company\'s financial and accounting operations

Tasks and responsibilities:
Manage and organize all financial and accounting operations within the company
Prepare and review periodic financial reports and submit them to senior management
Prepare budget estimates and monitor their implementation
Monitor cash flows, expenses, and revenues
Supervise general ledger, suppliers, customers, advances, and loans
Review daily entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts receivable/payable
Monitor financial and tax and insurance obligations in accordance with applicable laws
Develop internal financial policies and controls to protect company assets
Review financial documentation cycles and develop them
Supervise the accounting team, distribute tasks, and monitor performance
Coordinate with senior management in financial and investment decisions
Prepare analytical reports on the company\'s financial situation and provide necessary recommendations

Required qualifications:
A suitable university degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
At least 7 years of practical experience in the financial and accounting field
Previous experience in the position of Finance Director or Chief Accountant
Proficiency in preparing financial statements, budgets, and financial reports
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
Ability to lead a team and organize tasks
Ability to analyze financial data and make appropriate decisions
Accuracy, integrity, تحمل المسؤولية, and commitment to professional confidentiality
Preferably experience in import companies or foodstuffs or general trading
Must be willing to work in Libya - Tripoli
