Position Overview:



As a Charge Nurse in the ICU, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and coordinating patient care in our critical care unit. You will work closely with the ICU team to ensure that all patients receive the highest quality of care and that all policies and procedures are followed.



Key responsibilities include:



  • Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions and coordinating with physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Supervising and directing the nursing staff, including assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities
  • Providing guidance and support to the nursing team, including training and mentoring new staff members
  • Ensuring that all patient care activities are carried out according to established standards and protocols
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documenting all care provided
  • Responding to emergencies and providing immediate care as needed
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to address any concerns or questions
  • Adhering to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Valid nursing license in home country
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an ICU setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of critical care nursing practices and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and computer skills.
