Position: Charge Nurse Emergency

Location: Tripoli, Libya



As a Charge Nurse in our Emergency department, you will be
responsible for overseeing and managing the nursing staff and patient care in
the department. You will work closely with the department manager to ensure the
smooth and efficient operation of the department.



Key Responsibilities:



  • - Supervise and manage the nursing staff in the Emergency
    department, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and training.
  • - Ensure that all patients receive high-quality, compassionate
    care in a timely manner.
  • - Monitor and assess patient conditions, and collaborate with
    physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement
    appropriate treatment plans.
  • - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and
    documentation.
  • - Oversee the inventory and ordering of medical supplies and
    equipment for the department.
  • - Implement and enforce infection control protocols and safety
    measures.
  • - Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, and handle any
    issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • - Participate in performance improvement initiatives and
    contribute to the development of department policies and procedures.
  • - Stay current with developments and advancements in emergency
    nursing practices and procedures.

Qualifications:



  • - Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • - Active nursing license in home country
  • - Minimum of 10 years of experience in emergency nursing, with at
    least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • - Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • - Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in
    high-pressure situations.
  • - Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures.
  • - Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
  • - Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
