We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Manager to join our team in the Chemicals industry. As our HSE Manager, you will be responsible for managing all Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives within our organization. This is a critical role in ensuring the safety of our employees, compliance with regulations, and minimizing environmental impact. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of HSE regulations and best practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks, and recommend measures to mitigate them
- Lead HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure a strong safety culture throughout the organization
- Manage incident and accident investigations, including root cause analysis and developing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices, and advise management on necessary actions to comply with new requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations in project planning and implementation
- Monitor and report on key HSE performance indicators, and develop strategies to continually improve safety and environmental performance
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related fieldMinimum of [5] years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the Chemicals industry or oil and gas backgroundIn-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant agenciesStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organizationProven track record of successfully implementing HSE programs and initiativesCertifications in HSE management, such as CSP or CMIOSH, highly desirableExperience in incident investigation and root cause analysisAbility to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and responsibilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software
