• Responsible for budgeting, cost management, performance evaluation and asset management within the company.

• Construct data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system.

• Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.

• Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts.

• Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues. 

• Update standard costs in the bill of materials.

• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.

• Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.

• Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures.

• Control over warehouses balances.

• Perform month end close activities related to Cost Accounting.

• Prepares estimates of new and proposed product cost.

• Manage local inventory (stock) process.

• Keep updated inventory records on daily basis in ERP systems including daily transactions.

• Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly strict closing deadlines..

• Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profit while ensuring competitive pricing

• Prepare pricing reports and analyses

• Analyzing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels

• Monitor and update pricing as needed to reflect changes in the market
