Position Description:
The Reporting and Consolidation Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the financial consolidation process of the company. They also oversee the preparation of periodic financial reports, including consolidated financial statements, to provide internal and external stakeholders with a clear and accurate view of the company's financial health. Additionally, this role plays a crucial part in strategic decision-making by providing financial analysis and insights based on consolidated data.
Position Responsibilities:
* Financial Consolidation: Supervise and coordinate the consolidation process of financial accounts from various subsidiaries and entities of the company. Ensure the integrity of consolidated financial data in accordance with accounting standards and company policies ;
* Financial Reporting: Prepare and present periodic consolidated financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) to management and shareholders. Analyze significant variances and trends, and provide clear and concise explanations of financial results ;
* Intragroup Balances Tracking: Ensure accurate and relevant tracking of intragroup balances and transactions;
* Support on integrating new entities
* Recovery by Holdings: Implement an effective process for recovering intragroup balances due from holdings ;
* Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of consolidated financial performance to identify improvement opportunities, potential risks, and key growth areas. Provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making;
* Compliance and Accounting Standards: Ensure that the consolidation and reporting operations comply with international accounting standards and financial regulations ;
* Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of finance and accounting professionals dedicated to consolidation and reporting. Develop the team's skills and ensure effective communication within the department and with other departments ;
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of consolidation and reporting processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce closing times;
* External Relations: Collaborate with external auditors and other external stakeholders to facilitate audits and respond to financial information requests.
Qualifications:
* University degree in finance, accounting, or related field;
* Significant professional experience (5 to 8 years) in financial accounting, consolidation, or reporting, with experience in team management ;
* Excellent knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, ISA, etc.) and relevant tax and social laws ;
* Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data ;
* Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and understandable manner;
* Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and meet closing deadlines;
* Proficiency in financial management and consolidation tools ;
* Experience in an international group is highly appreciated.
* Fluency in English is required.
Preferred Skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision;
* Held a similar position with an international firm in the past in the early stages of growth;
* M&A integration experience is a nice to have.
