Staff Nurse

1. Admission and discharge of all inpatient (IP, labour room, ICU, Day Care and SCBU).
2. Registration of newborns and the continue admission.
3. Coordinate with IT troubleshooting created baby beds, labour Room alignment of discharge the report added physicians name, column.
4. Print stickers and admission forms.
5. Complete the birth notification forms and dispatch to the attendees as per the policy.
6. Follow-up insurance approvals and extensions and inform the concerned physician & staff.
7. Indent and provide newspapers for inpatient.
8. To communicate with healthcare workers regarding services and needs of the patient.
9. Assists the patient to facilitate post-hospital care or follow-up visits.
10. Consults other departments as appropriate to collaborate on patient care and performance improvement activities. Acts on performance improvement issues identified during CQI meetings.
11. Entering all laboratory and radiology request through the HIS (Hospital Information System).
12. Entering all consumables in the HIS (Hospital Information System) to enable the discharge procedures and to tally the stock.
13. Maintains current knowledge of resources available within the community maintain supply of resource materials to be distributed to patients when needed.  Accurately determines type of assistance/setting/resources necessary for the patient/family and provides appropriate resources/assistance/list of facilities.
