Job Overview Our client is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Digital Video Producer (Adobe Premiere) to support the production and delivery of engaging TV-style digital content. This role is ideal for someone with experience in remote video production, content creation, editing, and social media content management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality video content from concept to publication, assisting with production planning, guest coordination, filming, editing, and content distribution across multiple digital platforms. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Schedule Work Schedule: Flexible within the client's business hours (20 hours per week). Availability Requirement: Candidates must be available to support a live broadcast once per month, between 5:00 PM and 8:30 PM Melbourne time. This is a fixed requirement and an essential part of the role.
Responsibilities Video Production & Recording Assist in the planning and execution of remote TV-style productions, interviews, webinars, podcasts, and digital content. Coordinate and manage remote filming and recording sessions. Ensure high-quality audio and video standards during recordings. Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to recording platforms and equipment.
Video Editing & Content Creation Edit video content for various digital and social media platforms, including: Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, Podcasts, and other digital channels. Create engaging short-form content such as reels, clips, highlights, and promotional videos. Produce long-form content including interviews, episodes, webinars, and feature presentations. Optimize content formatting and specifications for each platform.
Graphics & Production Support Design and manage overlays, lower thirds, titles, transitions, captions, and on-screen graphics. Ensure branding consistency across all content and productions. Incorporate visual enhancements to improve audience engagement and production quality.
Content Planning & Scripting Assist with content research and topic development. Support script preparation, show outlines, and episode run sheets. Contribute creative ideas for content themes, segments, and audience engagement strategies. Help maintain content calendars and publishing schedules.
Guest & Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate guest invitations and scheduling. Manage communication with guests before, during, and after recordings. Prepare guests with production requirements and recording instructions. Coordinate recording logistics and scheduling requirements.
Production Management Assist with production timelines and workflow management. Support episode planning and content scheduling. Track project milestones and ensure deadlines are met. Maintain organized production files, assets, and documentation.
Social Media Content Support Create platform-specific content assets. Identify opportunities to repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form assets. Assist in developing content strategies to increase engagement and audience growth.
Requirements Proven experience in video production, video editing, content creation, or digital media production. Strong proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Cap Cut, or similar tools. Experience creating content for social media platforms. Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements. Experience with graphic overlays, titles, transitions, and visual branding. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and project management abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
