Job Purpose The Fleet & Broker Executive is responsible for managing the company’s fleet of commercial vehicles (buses and trucks) while coordinating with brokers and dealers to support vehicle buying and selling activities. The role ensures efficient fleet operations, strong broker relationships, and cost-effective commercial transactions. Key Responsibilities Fleet Management Manage and monitor the company’s fleet of commercial vehicles including buses and trucks. Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and operational costs. Maintain accurate fleet records including registrations, insurance, and service history. Prepare periodic reports on fleet performance and utilization. Broker & Dealer Coordination Build and maintain strong relationships with vehicle brokers and dealers. Negotiate deals for buying and selling commercial vehicles. Identify market opportunities for fleet expansion or disposal of vehicles. Coordinate with brokers to ensure competitive pricing and smooth transactions. Commercial & Market Activities Monitor market trends and pricing in the commercial vehicle industry. Support commercial and sales teams in achieving business targets. Identify potential business opportunities related to fleet operations. Documentation & Compliance Ensure all fleet vehicles comply with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements. Manage documentation related to vehicle ownership, insurance, and licensing. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field. Experience2–5 years of experience in fleet management, transportation, or commercial vehicle operations. Skills Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. Knowledge of the commercial vehicles market (buses & trucks). Good analytical and reporting skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Strong communication and coordination abilities. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Fleet operational efficiency and vehicle utilization. Cost control in fleet operations. Successful vehicle buying/selling transactions through brokers. Strong network of brokers and dealers.
